Centric butterfly valve with fixed liner
AVK fixed liner butterfly valves are among the best of its kind and have superior advantages.
The core idea behind the valve is an excellent seating concept. Direct vulcanization of the rubber creates a long-lasting bond with the ideal rubber shore hardness on the valve body. As a result, the liner is not at risk of fracture or dislocation. Because of this, the valves work effectively even under vacuum conditions.
The disc has a profiled sealing edge that requires minimal distortion of the liner to have a tight sealing. This results in lower operating torques and reduced liner wear.
Design features of AVK centric butterfly valve with fixed liner
- Fixed liner design with vulcanized liner has no tolerance problems between body and liner, it is effective even under vacuum conditions, and has an optimum shore hardness of the rubber
- AVK manufactured own rubber liner with its ability to regain shape after compression.
- Disc with design sealing edge gives less wear of liner
- Low operating torques due to fixed liner, profiled disc and shaft bearings
- Dimensions from DN40 to DN2000
- Isolating or regulating valve function
- Lever, wormgear, pneumatic and electrical actuation
- Shaft and disc in stainless or duplex steel (or rilsan coated ductile iron disc), EPDM (for drinking water or high temperature) or NBR.
When do we use a centric fixed liner butterfly valves?
There are several uses for the centric butterfly valve with fixed liner in the applications of gas supply, fire safety, water supply, and wastewater treatment.
- Water supply
- Wastewater Treatment
- Fire Protection
